EDANA, the leading global association advocating the benefits of nonwovens for society, released today an overview of the high-level figures from the EDANA Statistics Report on Nonwovens Production and Deliveries for 2023.

From 4-6 June 2024, EDANA will organize its first innovation forum. The inception of this new event emerged from the merger of two long-standing EDANA events: the International Nonwovens Symposium (INS) and the Nonwovens Innovation Academy (NIA). Historically, the nonwovens sector has been synonymous with innovation, furnishing society with adaptable materials that benefit our daily routines, spanning healthcare, construction, filtration, household, and civil engineering among other sectors.

Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do today, from consumer purchasing choices to policy making, which is why, last month EDANA organized the first edition of the EDANA Sustainability Forum. Established in Brussels, Belgium, this new event gathered over 150 nonwovens professionals to address issues from the future of value chain transparency to bioeconomy innovations.

Back by popular demand, with a new name and logo, EDANA’s MENA Nonwovens Conference™ is a premier event tailored to nonwovens professionals and business leaders in the Middle East and North Africa. Previously entitled the MENA Nonwovens Symposium, the fifth edition of this landmark event will take place on the 24-25 January 2024 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
